The Twin Ports and surrounding areas have a continuing need for more people in the  manufacturing workforce.  This includes welders, machinists, engineering CAD designers, and more.  Between the mines up north and general industry, the manufacturing trades can be a solid career path.

Lake Superior College has courses designed to train you for these and other manufacturing fields and is holding a career night to show you the options.  It will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd, from 4:30PM-7:00PM.  They will have an opportunity for you to take a tour of the facilities and watch welding, machining, and CAD demonstrations.

The event is free and while reservations are not required, they are encouraged as these career nights can get busy.  It's being held at Lake Superior College's Downtown Duluth Center located at 120 North Second Avenue West.  You can get more information on this, other career nights the college hosts, and reserving a spot here.
