Reading is such a good thing and while nowadays you can do plenty of that online with your tablet or phone, there is something still old school good about a paper copy of a book.

The Friends of the Library host many events throughout the year in order to help raise money.  The proceeds go to support various library services and programs throughout the year.  Many of the programs are aimed at kids, and are not only educational but fun for them and usually can be enjoyed by the whole family.  They are doing a good thing and you can help to support their cause.

This year for their annual holiday sale, they are selecting the best of the best from their collection of donated items.  At the sale, you will find best sellers, new releases, nonfiction books, children's titles, and plenty more.  Basically, there will be something for every reader on your Christmas list or even something for you to enjoy.  They will have great deals on the books and as a bonus, there will be gift wrapping options too.

It's on Saturday, December 5th from 10:00AM-1:00PM at the Superior Public Library.  While it is open to the public to attend, it will strictly be only for book sale shoppers during those hours.  They won't be offering and library services.  Of course masks are required as well as social distancing.  The Superior Public Library is located at 1530 Tower Avenue and you can get more information on this and other events they host HERE.
