Much was made in TV coverage of the New York Giants as being the team to have toppled previously-undefeated squads late in seasons past. The matchup proved to live up to much of the billing, as the Pack and G-Men battled back and forth through the game. The final result is the Packers remaining undefeated as a result of a late field goal from Mason Crosby to advance Green Bay to 12-0.

The other big piece of news for Green Bay is with the narrow win in this past week's game, they officially claim the title of NFC North Champion, and continue their campaign for first overall seed in the playoffs. The next closest team is San Fransisco, who is 10-2 so far this season.

Other stats of note as the Pack wraps up week 13:

  • Aaron Rodgers continues to lead the NFL in completion percentage (70.6) and passer rating (125.3)
  • The Packers' offense leads the league in scoring with an average of 25 points per game, just ahead of New Orleans' 32.8 ppg
  • Greg Jennings leads the Packers in both receptions (65, 7th in league) and receiving yards (929, 8th in league)
  • The Packers defense remains among the worst when it comes to yardage, allowing 397.8 yards per game (2nd worst, behind the New England Patriots)

The Packers can look forward to the following games yet this season.

  • Oakland Raiders at Green Bay - December 11, 3:15pm
  • Packers at Kansas City Chiefs - December 18, 12:00 pm
  • Chicago Bears at Green Bay - December 25, 7:20 pm
  • Detroit Lions at Green Bay - January 1, 12:00 pm
