Great news for shoppers: Duluth's T.J. Maxx store is open once again.

I was curious as to when it would reopen, having closed along with most other businesses over the past few months due to COVID-19. I called them up and on their answering machine, got the answer I was looking for!

The store is indeed open once again as of Monday, June 1st. They are implementing new store hours for now as follows:

  • Open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Open Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The store will also be implementing special shopping hours for seniors age 60 and up each Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. This begins on Tuesday, June 9th. The special shopping hour will also be for those most at-risk from COVID-19.

Duluth's T.J. Maxx location is located in the Burning Tree Plaza at 5115 Burning Tree Road.

The store's website has laid out their new and temporary guidelines for shoppers who will be visiting the store now that it is reopen. This includes limiting the number of shoppers allowed in the store at any time and no layaways for now with the exception of item pickups and cancellations.

Returns will be allowed and those items purchased pre-closure (from February 14th to March 19th of this year) can also be returned for thirty days from the store's opening date.

Monday, June 1st marks the beginning of Governor Walz' plan to slowly reopen the state, with certain businesses, salons, etc. able to reopen their doors under strict new guidelines amid COVID-19.
