The Minnesota Twins have lost 11 times in their last 12 games, and losing 90 games for a third straight season looks like it is in the bag. Yet the season is not over for the Twins, and I say that because they can still better themselves for next season right now, and by doing that they need to do these things.
Don't look now but the Minnesota Twins just swept the Chicago White Sox, okay well that is not very hard because the Sox are in last place in the American League Central, but still it is very impressive feat for the Twins who haven't swept the Sox since 2010. What is more impressive is that yesterday you saw the bottom third of the Twins lineup homer, and not to mention Justin Morneau hit is first
Do not look now but the Minnesota Twins are in first place, yes first place. Yesterday they beat the Detroit Tigers to win the opening series at home, and let's not forget that all of last year the Twins won five series's at home.
It is funny how just some competent starting pitching can change the outlook on a season...
Pitchers, and catchers report this week, and with many Twins fans across Minnesota who are trying to shovel their way out from yesterdays snow storm; just hearing that phrase will help people remember that spring is just a few weeks away...
The Twins have been flirting with us in June. Winning four-out-of-their-last-five series, yet history might be repeating itself again. It is June 1st, which means we are about half way through the sports year, and should we say it has been a failure for Minnesota sports so far in 2012. We did have about a two month span were the Minnesota Timberwolves were exciting, and were selling out the Target Center, yet those times came to a crashing halt when Ricky Rubio tore his ACL...
Within the last 48 hours the Minnesota Twins have scored a total of 16 runs in two games. Before Wednesday nights game the Twins scored a total of six runs in the four previous games, and not to mention three of those runs came from two Josh Willingham home runs.
Few days ago I was at Hammond Stadium watching the Minnesota Twins in Spring Training. All around the league, critics are calling for the Twins to finish third in the American League Central, so I was very eager to watch this team in person and give my own opinion, and here it is.First of all the injury bug is still with this team. From Joel Zumaya, and now Scott Baker, things are starting to look
What can be said about a 99-lose season? Not much in fact. Last year was so embarrassing that long time Twins radio announcer John Gordon retired. We also lost Michael Cuddyer, Jason Kubel, and Joe Nathan who all three bolted for a fresh start in Denver, Arizona and Texas respectively. It was not all that bad this off season, the Twins did sign Ryan Doumit, Jamey Carroll, and Josh Willingham, and
