The Duluth Parks and Recreation Department is happy to announce that the Bayfront Park Warming House is back open for the season. Sophia Grenz, who is a Recreation Specialist said: 

The ice is usually very nice, and we have free skate rentals down here and it’s very warm inside and it’s a great place to be, it’s a great view and it’s just picture of Duluth down here.

As of right now 25 people are allowed inside at a time with social distancing markers on the benches. If you wish to skate the Ice Rink has free skate rentals for children and adults.

If skating is not your thing the Parks and Recreation Department have other activities they do on a weekly basis like Crafts which is Free and other paid programs like Teen adventures, Skills Class and Fireside Crafts. Warming House Hours are: M-F 3-7pm, Saturday 12p-7p and Sunday 12p-4p. *The Warming House will close when it is -20 degrees windchill or below.
