The Northland Law Enforcement K-9 Foundation is having a 5K this weekend to help support our local law enforcement pups.  It's a part-trail and part-roads event happening this Saturday.  The proceeds from this 5k run/walk directly support the K-9 units of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Duluth Police Department, Hermantown Police Department, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and Superior Police Department.

It has a start and finish at The Lester Park Pavilion and even though the event is to raise money for dogs, they are requesting you please leave your pets at home.  Kids 12 and under can run for free and strollers are welcome in the run/walk.

It's from 9AM-11AM this Saturday the7th with a cost of $30 which includes a free race shirt with your race packet.
