Starting today and running for the whole month of September, a new exhibit is open at the Depot in Duluth.

This exhibition is based on the work of Wallace W. Abbey, and is put on by the Lake Superior Railroad Museum at the St. Louis County Heritage & Arts Center.  The exhibit is located in the Museum's Gallery Car and is part of the normal ticket to get in to the Depot.

The collection of photographs you'll see are Abbey's as he traveled the country capturing not only trains and railroads, but also the people who worked at keeping everything running.  You'll see images from the early 1940s all the way through the 1970s, with a focus on Midwest areas.

You can get more information on this exhibit, museum hours, and other events they feature by clicking here.  The Lake Superior Railroad Museum is located at 506 West Michigan Street in Duluth, MN.
