Lake Superior Day 2020 will continue on with some changes to help with social distancing on Sunday, July 19th.

It's a family friendly event that is designed to celebrate the great Lake Superior.  There is a scavenger hunt as part of the festivities that started on the July, 13th.  You can still get in on it though as it doesn't end until Sunday.  The hunt can be picked up at Lake Superior Estuariam on Barker's Island, Super One on Oakes Avenue, and the UW-Superior Yellowjacket Union on Catlin Avenue.  The hunt challenges can be found on the Lake Superior Reserve's Facebook Page located HERE.  The hunt will have you going all over town and you submit your hunt results on July 19th, at the event.

Anyone who participates in the scavenger hunt will be entered into a raffle for prizes from various local businesses.  Kids 16 and younger who submit a completed scavenger hunt will have the opportunity to try stand-up paddle boarding at Barker's Island from 2:00PM-4:00PM.  Included in the day of events will also be a Facebook live music performance by the group, One Less Guest, at 4:30PM.
