The COVID-19 Pandemic has played a part in hurting business around every community.  One such impacted place is of course the Lake Superior Zoo.  Being closed for a period of time has a deeper impact to a place that rely solely on foot traffic coming through the doors to see the animals and exhibits.

For the whole month of August, the Lake Superior Zoo will be hosting Food Truck Fridays.  Valentini's will be the star of the weekly event serving up their deliciousness from 10:00AM-3:00PM each week.  A portion of the proceeds will go to help out the animals that many families enjoy seeing.  It's a good way to enjoy a nice lunch break or have some good eats before or after your family tours the zoo.

The weekly event is weather dependent though, so make sure you call ahead if it's a little questionable out.  You can reach the Lake Superior Zoo at 218-730-4500 and they are located at 7210 Fremont Street in Duluth.  The zoo also accepts donations to keep what they have going and you can get more details about donating, day pass pricing, and even family memberships which help support the zoo, HERE.

Keep in mind that if you are going to visit outside of the Food Truck Friday times, they are currently different due to the pandemic.  At the time of writing this their hours are Thursday-Sunday from 10:00AM-5:00PM, and they are closed Monday-Wednesday.
