The good people at the Lincoln Park Farmers Market want everyone to know they are around to keep you warm throughout the winter, and are thus holding a grand opening of their winter market.

This grand opening event will feature free food while supplies last and also live music by Superior Siren and Clancy Ward.  There will also be a variety of vendors selling various veggies, bread, honey craft goods, and much more.  The plan is to have the winter market open through March on the first and third Thursday of every month.  Something also nice is the market offers a $15 EBT match program, doubling the purchasing power of anyone using SNAP benefits.  They also have specials for kids that attend.

The celebration takes place on Thursday, November 7th, from 4:00PM-7:00PM in the Duluth Folk School/Dovetail Café located at 1917 West Superior Street in Duluth. You can get more information on this and other Lincoln Park Farmers Market events here.
