Every year people from all over Minnesota participate in a walk to raise money, raise stroke awareness, and honor stroke survivors.  The monies raised go to help the funding of programs that benefit Minnesotans currently living with the effects of stroke.

There are 3 Minnesota locations where the Stride for Stroke walk will be happening on Saturday, May 18th.  Those include Saint Cloud, The Twin Cities, and Duluth.  I am going to focus on Duluth because it's where I'm from but the link below will give you information on all 3 locations.

The Duluth walk, bringing together the community, stroke survivors, plus family and friends Starts at 10AM in Duluth's Leif Erikson Park.  Online registration does end tomorrow night, the 13th but you can still donate on their website if you aren't able to register a team and participate.  Leif Erikson Park is located at 11th Avenue East  and London Road.  On street parking is available along London Road; a parking lot is available at South 13th Avenue East and London Road.  You can get more information about this event here.
