Rumors have been swirling that the Foo Fighters were going to break up, fueled by Dave Grohl's solo appearance on the Acadamy Awards show; now the Foos have made an important announcement.

The band teased fans and the world with a status update on their official Facebook page saying, "Official band announcement tomorrow night. Stay tuned."

The official announcement came in the form of a YouTube video featuring Grohl discussing doing a solo project and the band talking about who to get for a new lead singer, including trying out someone from a 90's boy band.

The good news comes at the end when the Foos with no doubt deny the rumors of their breakup.
