With school back is session, kids can get bogged down with the school routine once again, so it's important to mix things up when you can to let them have fun trying something new. This weekend in Duluth, the Duluth Children's Museum will help provide one such opportunity.

This week and into the weekend the City of Duluth, along with The Duluth Children's Museum and Imagine Duluth, are hosting a Pup Up Play event that the kids will love.

According to the City of Duluth Facebook post, the event will take place on two consecutive days:

Come play in Canal Park with the Duluth Children's Museum! The City of Duluth is proud to sponsor a Pop Up Play as a part of an Imagine Duluth grant that we received. There will be free art, engineering, and creative play activities located at 376 Canal Park Drive. The Pop Up Play events will occur on Friday, September 24 & Saturday, September 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This event is free and family friendly! We can't wait to see this space activated, and full of amazing people, art, and PLAY!

As you can see from the post, the event is free which is fantastic. If you're looking for something fun to do with the kids into the weekend, this would be worth a visit.

This is such a cool idea and since the Pop Up Play can be provided at various locations throughout the city, it would be great to see these continue throughout each year. Kudos to all involved with getting this organized for the community.
