Jameson Irish Whiskey Cold Brew Review
My whiskey brand of choice is usually a Jameson product. Regular ole Jamo is great but my usual flavor has been their Black Barrel which is very nice. Jameson also has their Caskmates line which are decent enough but while grabbing a couple of weeks worth of wine for my one and only, I noticed something new, Jameson Cold Brew. I enjoy coffee and whiskey equally and often combine the two anyway, so I had to grab a bottle.
It's supposed to be a limited edition blend but I really hope this one stays as a new permanent member to their line-up. The label says "Jameson Irish Whiskey infused with natural cold brew coffee flavor". It's exactly that! It's not too sweet, it's not too bitter. I've been enjoying it on the rocks with a cigar or adding it to my coffee which is how I'm enjoying it currently.
It's 60 proof, so not the strongest, but it will get you where you need to go. I'm no snob on whiskey by any means but with this one you truly can taste the notes of toasted oak and dark chocolate. At about $25.00 for a bottle, if you haven't tried this and like coffee and like Jameson, you'll love this latest release.
